Laurie Burkett ran for judge on the Monroe City Court in Oauchita Parish, Louisiana in 2010.
2010 election
Burkett competed against Jeff Joyce in the November 2 election, after no one received a majority in the October election.[1] She wad defeated on November 2, receiving only 42% of the vote.[2]
