Biography

Brandaun Dean was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Dean earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Howard University in 2014. His career experience includes working as an organizer with the American Federation of Teachers and SEIU and serving as the mayor of Brighton, Alabama.[1][2][3] Dean co-founded and served as the chairman of Campaign X.[3]

The first historical event I recall was the death of comedian Redd Foxx. My father and I watched reruns of his shows everyday. When he died I felt I’d lost an ornery old pal.
I was an intern at Brighton Middle School the summer after my eighth grade middle school graduation.
I am a survivor of displacement and racially charged conspirational malice.
I’ve won a competitive election as a first time candidate. I have ranging experience in the culture of the Douglass Common Wealth. I’ve been a lifelong student of the U.S. Senate.
I think experience that qualifies one for Senatorial service is unique to each soul.
I prefer to consider nominees from public defense and lower court backgrounds .
