My relatives fought and died in WW I and II, and the Viet Nam War. My father piloted a B24 over the Himalayas in WWII. I am a second and third generation descendent of immigrants. I grew up with a love for and belief in our country and its values. My belief in our country’s values is strong, especially when I reflect on the work and sacrifices of so many, and of the consequences of inaction or indifference.

I am Chair of the South Hampton Democratic Committee, previously, Executive Committee Member of the Rockingham County Democrats.

I am a retired RN, MSN, CCRN, and Certified Diabetic Educator, with work experience in the ICU, Nursing Education, and Home Care. I am also a retired business owner of Jewell Towne Vineyards.

Civic duties have included appointment as South Hampton’s Welfare Officer, Co-Chair of South Hampton’s Council on Aging, and PTA president. I have been a Sunday school teacher and a cub scout leader.

Personally, I am married to Peter Oldak, MD, have two happily married children and four grandchildren. I enjoy bicycling, skiing, tennis, hiking, and gardening.

I believe in caring for others, common sense for the common good, women’s reproductive rights, decency, public health and education, voting rights, reducing taxes, transparency in government, business and job promotion, justice, inclusion, LGBTQ+ rights, public safety, responsible gun ownership, and protecting the environment.
  • I will work for strengthening women's reproductive rights in New Hampshire.
  • I will support quality local public education.
  • I will work for local property tax relief.
I am passionate about women's right to safe reproductive health care. I am passionate about protecting the environment and promoting renewable resources. I am passionate about supporting local public schools and education. I am passionate about reducing property taxes.
