Carlos May
Carlos May was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 7th Congressional District of Indiana. He won the Republican nomination and faced Democratic incumbent André Carson and Independent Mmoja Ajabu in the general election.[1]
May lost to Democratic incumbent André Carson on November 6, 2012.[2]

Previously, May served on the Mayor’s Neighborhood Liaison.[3] Other positions include, Director of West Coast Operations for Marathon Building, International Manager for DFS Galleria, a subsidiary of Louis Vuitton-Moet Hennesy, and a Consultant for Zebulon Inc.[3]

May ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Indiana's 7th District. May defeated Steve Davis, Tony Duncan, Larry Shouse, J.D. Miniear, Wayne Harmon, and Catherine Ping in the Republican primary and faced incumbent André Carson (D) and Mmoja Ajabu (I) in the November 6 general election.[1][4] May was defeated by André Carson in the general election.
