Douglas P. Jones

Douglas P. Jones is a magistrate judge for the Fifth Judicial District in Kansas. He was appointed to the court in December 2008.[1] He was retained in 2014 for a term that expired on January 13, 2019.[2]

Jones was retained to District 5 with 84.1 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [2]

Jones was retained to the district court with 83.7 percent of the vote in 2010.[3][4]

Education
Jones received his undergraduate degree from Emporia State University in 1997, and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 2002.[1]
Career
Prior to his elevation to the bench, Jones was a partner in Rayl & Jones LLC.[1]
