Frank Fregiato is a judge on the Belmont County Common Pleas Court in St. Clairsville, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by Governor John Kasich on July 24, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Jennifer L. Sargus. Fregiato assumed office on August 12, 2013.[1] He was elected to the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas General Division in November 2014, winning a full term that expired on February 8, 2021.[2][3]

Education

Fregiato received his undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University in 1973 and his J.D. from the Ohio State University College of Law in 1977.[5][6]

Career

Before joining the Belmont County Common Pleas Court, Fregiato served as a judge for the Northern Division of the Belmont County Court from 1989 until his appointment in 2013. He was previously a partner at the law firm of Fregiato, Myser & Davies and special counsel to the Ohio Attorney General. Fregiato has also served as a law director for the Village of Bellaire and a solicitor for the villages of Belmont and Brookside.[1][5]
