Gladys Perez was a county judge of the Miami-Dade County Court of Florida. She was appointed by former Governor Charlie Crist on August 18, 2009, and was sworn in later that month. She was elected in 2012 to a term that would have expired on January 8, 2019. Perez resigned from the court on November 30, 2014, after accepting a position as partner of the law firm Shutts & Bowen.[1][2][3]

Perez received her bachelor's and J.D. degrees from Nova Southeastern University.[1]

Career

2012 election

Perez was unopposed and was automatically re-elected to the county court following the November 6, 2012, general election.[2]
