It's simple I'm a Husband, I am a father, I am a citizen. I am just a regular guy who knows that there needs to be a change in our city. I am a voice To speak for those who don't have the courage or feel that they can speak out To speak for those who don't have the courage or feel that they can speak out
  • WE ARE ONE TOPEKA! NO MORE DIVISION
  • We need better jobs across the board
  • The people's voice needs to matter to Govt officials
Affordable housing, More social services to address the homeless population, Putting a fire department in our district, Better infrastructure on the streets.
I believe that this office should be held to a high standard of integrity, And accountability to serve the people of district 9 but not just district 9 but an obligation to serve the people of Topeka as a whole so that way so that way it can fit into the state government and legal system the best way possible
I really don't have anyone specific in mind, Although there are a lot of great people that I have studied and have patterned my life after after I believe if I would pick someone politically it would be president Barack Obama because of the way that he ran a grassroots campaign and made it all the way to the White House but he did not stop when he arrived he continued to trump policies And made it better for the American people
I somebody live by or try to live by but do one to others as the others as others would do on to you. This is a principle that Jesus has taught in The Bible but not just that we were taught this was the golden rule an elementary school and a it's simple we we want the city to be able to be the best place on Earth but but we Don't want to do what it takes to take care of the city and of the city and vice verse
Don't make empty promises or promise things that are not in your power I believe that we all should strive to be the bestThat we can be in every way shape form and fashion but I also believe by doing that we have to be honest with not just ourselves but with the people that we serve and knowing that some things are not possible and we are not just pacifying people for
I am honest, Trustworthy and Is dependable.
I just believe in letting People beat themselves I don't believe in hiding behind Titles
I believe some of the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office is to be true to to what is needed for the district if your district needs better street lights if your district needs better policing if your district needs better family activities I believe the best corresponsibility is to serve the people that you have been elected to serve
I have 5 kids and the legacy that I would like to leave is that dad did everything that he could to make this city in this world safe for us and he was able to speak out for those who felt they did not have a voice
The 1st historical event that I remember happening in my lifetime was September 11th I remember sitting in my 5th grade classroom and they locked down the school and at that time they turn the TV on and everyone was devastated I was 10 years old
My very 1st job was popeye's chicken, It taught me the politics of when people are hungry they will do anything to get their chicken. Lol. Seriously it taught me how to deal with people on a day-to-day basis Based upon their needs. I held that job for the matter of a year and a 1/2.
Wait till Helen comes by mary downing hahn
If I could be a fictional character I would be Captain America just because of what he represents and represents and it would be kind of cool to throw the shield around and be invincible
Something that's been a struggle in my life Has been marriage, Being a father, and just adulting. I grew up in a single parent home where it was just my mother my brother and myself, So I've never seen the model of what a 2 parent home that was structurally sound is the structurally sound and stable Looked like. So growing up after getting married and having children it was a big struggle for me to understand how to do certain things. I said this because I want you to understand that I am not perfect but I but I'm willing to serve and live and let you know that we all have issues and struggles but we can overcome I said this because I want you to understand that I am not perfect but I but I'm willing to serve and live and let you know that we all have issues and struggles but we can overcome them.
I just believe that people should be aware of the overall proceedings and decisions being made by the city council and not just the highlights that they show on social media
I believe that this council and the holders of this office should be everyday people who know and have no conflicting interest to this office but are able to be represented by the people in our city
I believe the most important skill to be held by this office is integrity accountability and the ability To make sound decisions based on the best interest of the people of the city
What kind of key opens a banana, a mon-key
