Ida Johnson was the Trustee Area 1 member of the Merced Union High Board of Education in California. She was defeated in her bid for re-election in the general election on November 4, 2014.

The election in Merced Union High featured three seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.

Incumbents Ida Johnson, David Honey and William G. Snyder III from Trustee Areas 1, 2 and 5, respectively, were up for re-election.

Ida Johnson ran against challengers Mary I. Mercado and Greg Opinski for the Trustee Area 1 seat, which Opinski won. William G. Snyder III lost the Trustee Area 5 seat to challenger Richard Lopez. David Honey ran unopposed and won re-election to the Trustee Area 2 seat.
