Patrick Scanlon ran for an open seat on the Lackawanna County Magisterial District in Pennsylvania in 2011.[1]

2011 election

Scanlon won the Republican Party primary on May 17. He received 12.1% in the Democratic primary and 28.6% of the vote in the Republican primary.[2] He was defeated by Joanne Corbett in the general election on November 8.[3]

Scanlon earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.[4]

Professional career

Scanlon has been actively involved in private practice since his admission to the bar, and he has worked for the firm Minora, Minora, Colbassani, Krowiak and Mattioli.[4]
