Tara Armstead was an at-large member of the Litchfield Elementary School District in Arizona. She assumed office on March 25, 2021. She left office on August 24, 2021.

Maricopa County School Superintendent Steve Watson appointed Armstead to the board to replace Alayne Weathersby, who retired in January 2021.[1]

Armstead resigned from the board on August 24, 2021, citing mistreatment due to her race.[2]
