Robert Horne
Robert Horne was a Democratic member of the North Dakota State Senate. Horne represented the 3rd District in the North Dakota State Senate from 2006-2010, when he was defeated in the general election.
Horne was Vice President of College Relations for Valley City State University. He then worked as Director for North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department. He has also worked as Manager for Minot Office Verendrye Electric Co-operative.
Horne earned his B.S. from Valley City State University. He went on to receive his M.A. from the University of North Dakota. He then earned his Ph.D. from the University of Montana.

Horne lost his bid for re-election to the North Dakota State Senate District 3. He was defeated by Oley Larsen (R).[1][2]

Horne was unopposed in the primary election on June 8, 2010.[3]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Horne was elected to the 3rd District Seat in the North Dakota State Senate, besting Randy Schobinger (R).[4] Horne raised $13,250 for his campaign, while Yockim raised $6,820.[5]
