Trey Kilpatrick (Republican Party) was the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Georgia. He assumed office on October 15, 2020. He left office in 2023.

Trey Kilpatrick is a Republican political advisor in the state of Georgia. Kilpatrick was the chief of staff for the gubernatorial administration of Brian Kemp (R). Kemp appointed Kilpatrick on October 7, 2020, and he assumed office on October 15, 2020.[1]

Education

Kilpatrick received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Georgia in 2004. He also studied history and English literature at Oxford University in 2004.[2]

Career

In February 2020, Kilpatrick was appointed vice president of government and community affairs at Georgia State University. From 2009 to 2019, Kilpatrick worked for former Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson (R) in a number of roles, including political director, state director, campaign manager, and deputy chief of staff.[1] Prior to working for Isakson, Kilpatrick was vice president of Morgan Keegan & Company from 2005 to 2009.[2]

Brian Kemp chief of staff

On October 7, 2020, Gov. Brian Kemp (R) appointed Kilpatrick as chief of staff. Kilpatrick replaced Caylee Noggle, who had been serving as interim chief of staff since the departure of Tim Fleming.[1]
