Sherry Clemens is a proud Richardson resident, wife, and devoted mother of four children. She has children at the elementary and middle school levels. Sherry is a former elementary teacher with a Master's Degree in Education Administration. and a Principal Certificate. Sherry believes RISD should provide an outstanding education for every student, partner with parents and teachers, be financially sound, and hire a superintendent focused on academics!
  • Set policies to improve RISD's academic excellence
  • Give parents in RISD a voice
  • Empower great teachers to stay in RISD
RISD’s academic performance has been on the decline since 2010. As a public school district, outstanding academics should be our primary goal. We must work to close the achievement gap and improve educational outcomes in all student populations. Together we will work to restore a focus on academics that will grow every student and return Richardson ISD to a district of academic excellence.
