James R. Bickel
James R. Bickel is a former presiding circuit court judge for the 28th Circuit Court in Missouri. He was elected to the bench on November 7, 2000, and was re-elected in 2006 and 2012.[1][2] Bickel reached the mandatory retirement age of 70 in July 2016. His successor was chosen in the November 2016 election, and Bickel retired at the end of the year.[3]
Education
Judge Bickel earned his B.S. in 1968 and J.D. in 1973 from the University of Missouri-Columbia.[4][2]
