Johnnie B. Byrd, Jr.
Johnnie B. Byrd, Jr. was a candidate for a seat on the Thirteenth Circuit Court of Florida in 2012.[1]
2012 election
Byrd ran for election on Aug. 14, 2012, but was defeated by incumbent Judge Mark R. Wolfe after receiving 36.7% of the vote.[2][3]

Education
Byrd received his B.S. degree (Business Administration) from Auburn University and his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.[4]
Career
Byrd worked as an attorney with Caffey & Byrd from 1976 to 1988, with Trinkle, Redman, Swanson & Byrd, P.A. from 1988 to 2005. Since 2005, he has practiced with Byrd & Barnhill, P.L. He is also a former Speaker of the House of the Florida House of Representatives.[5]
