Jonathan Young was a circuit court judge for the Thirteenth Circuit Court in Tennessee.[1] He was elected to the court on August 7, 2014.[2]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014.
General: He defeated Randall A. York in the general election on August 7, 2014, receiving 53.3 percent of the vote. [1][3][2]

Education

Young received his undergraduate degree from Tennessee Tech University in 1996 and his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 1999.[4][5]

Career

Before his election to the court, Young was a partner at the firm of Cameron and Young Attorneys at Law in Cookeville, Tennessee.[5]
