Anthony Campagna
Anthony Campagna is a judge of the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He assumed office in 2020. His current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Campagna won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of San Diego County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appointed him to the court on December 8, 2020, to replace Judge Gale Kaneshiro.[1]
Education
Campagna earned a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court of San Diego County, Campagna served as Division Chief of the South Bay Branch of the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office from 2018 to 2020. He had served in the District Attorney's Office since 1999, where he had also served as Assistant Division Chief and Trial Prosecutor.[1]
