Charles Umeda is a judge of the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He assumed office in 2015. His current term ends on January 8, 2029.

Umeda won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Umeda was appointed by Democratic Governor Jerry Brown on July 16, 2015, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Shahla S. Sabet.[1]
