Weaver has spent his legal career in private practice. He is currently a partner at Weaver and King, P.C.[1]
2012 elections
Since no candidate received 50% of the vote in the Democratic primary on March 13, the election went to a runoff. Weaver won the runoff on April 24, receiving 59.11% of the vote. He was elected to the court after running unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2] [3][4][5]
