James P. "Jim" Doherty, Jr. is a judge of the 27th Judicial District, Division A in Louisiana. He was first elected to this position on April 23, 2005.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3][4]
