John L. Miller is a judge of the First Circuit Court for Santa Rosa County in Florida. He was appointed to this position by Gov. Charlie Crist on September 28, 2010 to replace retired Judge Kenneth L. Williams. He was elected in 2012 and his current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3]

Education

Miller received his bachelor's degree from Florida State University and his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law.[2]

Career

Miller spent much of his legal career practicing with the law firm of Johnson, Green and Miller from 1987 to 2007. He then worked as a General Magistrate of Santa Rosa County until he was appointed Circuit Court Judge in 2010.[2]

2012 election

Miller was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4][5]
