Approach to the law

During her campaign for the November 2012 General Election, Brown was quoted as saying:

If elected as Judge, my judicial philosophy would be that every party is entitled to efficient, fair and impartial relief from the Court. It is important that judges know the law, follow the law and render opinions that are well reasoned and timely. The courtroom is a place of dignity and respect and accordingly, it should be a place where everyone appearing before the Court is treated with dignity and respect.[4] - Kim Brown[5]
