Lori Cotton is a judge of the Marion County Court in Florida. She assumed office in 2021.

She was appointed to the court on May 18, 2021 by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to replace Sarah Ritterhoff Williams.[1]

Biography

Cotton received her bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University and her J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law. She spent 7 years serving as Training Director for the Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office. Prior to her appointment, she had served as an assistant state attorney in the Fifth Judicial Circuit since 2001.[1]
