Martin De Vries is the judge for Branch 2 of the Dodge County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He was appointed to the seat by Gov. Scott Walker (R) on July 11, 2016, to fill the vacancy created by Judge John Storck's resignation. De Vries took office on October 7, 2016.[1]

De Vries won re-election in the general election on April 4, 2017.

De Vries earned his undergraduate degree at Dordt College and his J.D. from the Valparaiso University School of Law. During his work as a private attorney, he represented government agencies including Winnebago County and the Appleton Area School District. He also represented businesses including Markesan’s Hilltop Dairy.[1]

Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election.
