Melanie Cross
Melanie Barbee Cross is a judge of the Tifton Circuit of Georgia.[1] She joined the court in 2008.
Education
Cross began college at Abraham Baldwin College but eventually earned her B.A. from the University of Georgia. She received her J.D. from Mercer University.[2]
Career
Coss was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1992. Prior to joining the court, she worked in private practice in Tifton, Georgia.[3]
2012 election
Cross ran unopposed for re-election to the Tifton Superior Court.[4] She was re-elected after receiving 99.7% of the vote in the July 31 election.[5]
