Raja Rajeswari
Raja Rajeswari is a judge on the New York City Criminal Court of New York County, New York. She was appointed to the court by Mayor Bill de Blasio in April 2015 and was sworn into office on April 27, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Rajeswari received her undergraduate degree from the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York and her J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School.[3]
Career
Prior to her appointment to the New York City Criminal Court, Rajeswari served as the deputy chief of the Special Victims Unit for the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office. In total, she served as a prosecuting attorney for the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office for 16 years.[1][4]
