Reginald T. Badeaux, III

Reginald T. "Reggie" Badeaux, III is the Division I judge of the 22nd Judicial District in Louisiana. He was first elected to this position on October 18, 1997.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3][4]

Education
Badeaux received his B.A. from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1980 and his J.D. from the Loyola University Law School in 1984.[5]
Career
Badeaux began his career in 1984 as an attorney of Badeaux and Badeaux and remained with the firm until his judicial election in 1997. He also worked in the 22nd Judicial District as an assistant indigent defender from 1986 to 1988, and an assistant district attorney from 1990 to 1997. He was elected to the district court in 1997.[5]
