Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
Shall the Township of Albee levy a special assessment pursuant to Act 33 of the Michigan Public Acts of 1951, on all parcels of real property within the Township which contain a residential unit (each single family dwelling, individual mobile home, apartment unit or duplex unit), and commercial, agriculture or industrial units (each unit space occupied by a separate occupant if more than one) to provide funds to purchase a fire truck for Albee Township? The annual assessment for this purpose would not exceed $60.00 per year per parcel for a period of 7 years. This special assessment would be in addition to the Albee Township special assessment to provide for fire protection.[3] |
