Arlene Perkkio
Arlene M. Asencio Perkkio is a Minnesota First Judicial District judge for Dakota County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position by Governor Mark Dayton on June 10, 2011 to replace retiring Judge Robert F. Carolan.[1] She won re-election to the same seat in 2012.[2] Her term expires in 2018.
Education
Perkkio received her B.S. degree in political science from Macalester College in 1987 and her J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1991.[1]
Career
Perkkio worked as a private practice attorney prior to her appointment to the district court in 2011. She has also taught at the William Mitchell College of Law.[1]
Elections
2012
Perkkio ran unopposed for Minnesota First Judicial District which was held in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2] She got 99.07 percent of the vote.[3]
