This week's question was, the number of confirmed federal judges at this point in President Joe Biden's (D) first term in office is greater than the number of federal judges confirmed as of this point in what recent presidency?

You answered: Bill Clinton
The correct answer is Barack Obama.

As of August 1, 2023, roughly 920 days into his first term, President Joe Biden (D) had nominated 176 individuals to federal judgeships on Article III courts.

The Senate has confirmed 140 of those nominees, placing Biden behind Donald Trump (R), George W. Bush (R), and Bill Clinton (D) in terms of total confirmations at this point in their respective presidencies.

By Aug. 1 of the third year in their terms, Bill Clinton (D) had the most nominees confirmed at 156, Donald Trump (R) had 146, and George W. Bush (R) had 145.
