Barbara Byrne ran for a seat on the New York Supreme Court 10th Judicial District in November 2009.[1]
Supreme Court race
Byrne was nominated by the Working Families Party for the New York Supreme Court election for the 10th Judicial District. She did not run a campaign. According to an article on the "City Hall" New York news website, she was primarily used as a placeholder for the WFP to grant the Democratic candidate more support in the general election.[2][3]
