Carrie Zalewski is a former member of the Illinois Commerce Commission. She was appointed to the position by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker (D) on March 29, 2019. She was appointed chair of the commission on April 15, 2019.[1]

Zalewski stepped down as chair of the Illinois Commerce Commission on June 16, 2023, and was replaced by Doug Scott. [2]

At the time of Zalewski's appointment in 2019, state law stipulated that no more than three members of the five-member commission could be from the same political party. Zalewski was listed as a Democrat on the ICC appointments section of appointments.illinois.gov.[3]
