Charles H. Henry

Charles H. Henry is a senior resident superior court judge for the Second Division of the Superior Court, 4B Judicial District, serving Onslow County in North Carolina. Henry was appointed to the court by Governor Jim Hunt in February 1998 and was later elected to full term in November 1998.[1] Henry was re-elected to the Second Division of the Superior Court, 4B Judicial District in 2014, winning a new term that expires on December 31, 2022.[2][3]
The North Carolina Superior Courts are split into five divisions and 48 districts. Superior court judges rotate among the districts within their division every six months.[4] However, superior court judges are elected by voters in their district and must reside in the district in which they are elected.[5]

Henry received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from Wake Forest University.[1]
Career
Before becoming a judge, Henry practiced law from 1980 until 1998 in the Onslow County area. He also worked as a certified superior court mediator.[1]
