Charles P. Weech
Charles P. Weech was a resident judge of the Twenty-Second Circuit (1st Subcircuit) of Illinois. He was first elected in 2006 and was retained in 2012.[1] Weech retired on September 1, 2017.[2]
Biography
Welch earned a B.S. from Western Illinois University, going on to receive a J.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1988.[3] He was admitted to the bar in 1989.[4]
Prior to being elected circuit judge in 2006, Weech was an associate judge of the Nineteenth Circuit. He was appointed to that position in March 2001 and re-appointed in 2003.[3]
Weech's professional experience also includes working as a probation officer, public defender investigator, law clerk, and private practice attorney (partner with Pollock, Meyers, Eicksteadf and Weech Ltd).[3]
