Chris E. Reif is a judge for the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in Jacksonville, Illinois. He was appointed in February 2013 to fill the vacancy on the court created by the retirement of Judge Richard T. Mitchell.[1][2][3] He was elected to a full term on November 4, 2014.[4]

Education
Reif received his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Illinois State University in 1993. He earned his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1998.
Career
Prior to joining the court, Reif served as a state's attorney for Morgan County. Directly after law school, Reif worked in private practice with Grosboll, Becker, Tice & Smith.[3]
