Mayer ran for election to the Dunn County Circuit Court.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on February 18, 2014, receiving 39.8 percent of the vote. She competed against Roger M. Hillestad and James M. Peterson.
General: She was defeated in the general election on April 1, 2014, after receiving 48.4 percent of the vote. She competed against James M. Peterson. [1][2][3]

Education

Mayer received an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a J.D. from Oklahoma University School of Law.[4]

Career

Mayer joined the firm of Schofield & Higley in 2001, becoming a partner of Schofield, Higley & Mayer in 2007. Additionally, she is the lead attorney for the Pepin County Department of Human Services and Pepin County Child Support Agency.[4]
