Cindy M. Mercer is a judge of the Thirteenth Judicial District Court in New Mexico. She was elected in November 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[1]

General: She defeated R. Lar Thomas in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 52.3 percent of the vote. [1] 

Education

Mercer earned her B.A. from New Mexico State University and her J.D. from the University of Nebraska School of Law.[2]

Career

Prior to her election to the bench, Mercer was an attorney for the law offices of Michael S. Sanchez.[2]
