A Colorado Judicial Reform Amendment did not make the November 6, 2012 ballot in Colorado as an initiated constitutional amendment. The measure proposed changing how Colorado's judges are appointed and how long they can serve. Additionally, it would have reduced the number of Colorado Supreme Court justices from seven to five. It would have also required Senate confirmation hearings for appointees.[1]
