I am running for county commissioner in order to provide stable and responsible leadership for Glasscock County. I have several years experience in commercial dirt work, permitting involving roads, storm water run off/SWPP, TCEQ, OSHA and MSA training, commercial driving, and maintenance expertise on construction equipment. My background would provide a vital role for serving as a great county commissioner and provides me an understanding of how to budget and make responsible tax dollar investments for the future of this county.
  • Experience in commercial dirt work and road construction; a vital part of serving as a good county commissioner.
  • Great communicator; in order to best serve the people of precinct 4 in Glasscock County, it’s crucial that the elected individual be a good communicator. I’ve always been known as someone who communicates well with others, and am not scared to pick up the phone in order to schedule, resolve, or simply have a conversation.
  • Strong leadership skills; being able to navigate difficult or awkward situations is a valuable skill I’ve been able to use through my life thus far. Whether it’s picking up that phone call from a disgruntled contractor, client; or making a difficult decision to invest into a machine, or to not. There’s a plethora of possibilities to arrange the puzzle of life, business, and county related topics. Being able to overcome the difficult decisions by cost benefit analysis, having constructive talks with other commissioner's and community members, and doing right by the tax payers is the goal and way in which I’d serve as a county commissioner.
Responsible spending, good maintenance of roads and facilities within the county, assistance to our peace officers and volunteer fire department/ems. Providing a safe county for our families to thrive, and assisting however we can to our local ISD so our children can learn and grow in the best environment and community possible.
