Craig La Bree is a judge of Division 1 of the Lea County Magistrate Court in New Mexico. He was appointed by Governor Susana Martinez in November 2012 to fill the seat left vacant by retired Judge Barry A. Peters.[1] He was elected to a full term on the court in 2014. His term expires on December 31, 2018.[2]

La Bree ran for re-election to the Lea County Magistrate Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 57.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Ronald G. Braun.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2][3] 

Education

La Bree received his undergraduate degree from George Mason University, and his J.D. from Pepperdine University.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, La Bree worked in private practice in New Mexico for 20 years. La Bree specialized in personal injury and commercial law.[1]
