Elections
2012
Biggs initially declared to run in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Mississippi's 3rd District.[1] As the nominee on the Democratic ticket, Biggs was scheduled to face incumbent Gregg Harper (Republican) and John Luke Pannell (Reform) in the November 2012 general election. However, she withdrew from the race in September 2012 because of illness. She was to be replaced by Vicki Slater on the general election ballot, but Slater declined to enter the race.[2]
