Dale W. Radcliffe is a judge of the Fairfield District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] He was appointed to the bench in 1997 by Governor John Rowland and his term expired January 27, 2021.[2]

Education

Radcliffe received an undergraduate degree from Allegheny College and a graduate degree Fairfield University. He was awarded a J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center (now known as the University of New Hampshire School of Law).[3]

Career

Radcliffe was elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives in 1988. He served as a representative until he resigned in September 1996 to accept a nomination to the bench from Governor Rowland.[4] While in the General Assembly, Radcliffe was the ranking member of the Labor and Employment Committee for two years and a ranking member of the Judiciary Committee for four years. Until his appointment to the bench, Radcliffe was also a partner with the law firm of Rubins, Lassenger and Radcliffe. Prior to that time he was an attorney with the firm of Rubins, Gross and Columbo, both located in Bridgeport.[3]
