Dane County Question 1 was on the ballot as a referral in Dane County on April 4, 2023. It was approved.
A "yes" vote supported advising the state to amend the Wisconsin Constitution to establish a nonpartisan redistricting system for legislative districts. |
A "no" vote opposed advising the state to change the state redistricting system from the existing system that authorizes the state legislature to redistrict legislative districts every ten years. |
A simple majority was required for the approval of Question 1. However, the question is non-binding and did not have the force of law.
