Daniel Mabley
Daniel Mabley was a Fourth Judicial District judge for Hennepin County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position in 1992 and was elected to full terms in 1994, 2000, 2006, and 2012. He was assigned to the Felony Block. His six-year term expired in January 2019.[1]
Education
Mabley received his B.A. degree from Carleton College in 1971 and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1974.[1]
Career
Mabley began his legal career in 1974 as a private practice lawyer. The following year, he joined the St. Paul City Attorney's Office. He then worked in the Dakota County Attorney's Office as Chief of the Economic Crime Unit from 1978 to 1980. From 1980 until his judicial appointment in 1992, he worked in the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. During this time, he served as the Chief of Arson Prosecution (1980), Senior Attorney and Trial Team Supervisor (1989) and Chief of the Adult Prosecution Division (1991).[1]
Elections
2012
Mabley ran unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012.[2] He received 98.58 percent of the vote.[3]
