David Caruth
David Caruth was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Parkland Board of Directors in Pennsylvania. The seat was up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015. He filed to run in the Republican primary and was defeated.[1][2]
Biography
Caruth obtained his bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Kutztown University. He went on to earn his MBA from Rosemont College. At the time of his candidacy, he was working towards his Ph.D. from Capella University. He is a senior consultant of strategic alliances and national distribution at Verizon Wireless.[3]

Five of the nine seats on the Parkland Board of Directors were up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015.
Incumbents Lisa Adams, Bob Bold, David Kennedy and Jef Reyburn won re-election. Carol Facchiano also joined the board. They defeated Rochell Figueroa.[1][2]
Adams, Kennedy and Facchiano won in both the Democratic and Republican primaries. Figueroa and Bold both won Democratic nominations. Reyburn won a Republican nomination. Martin Brans and David Caruth did not win a nomination from either party and did not advance to the general election. No independent candidates filed to run in the general election.[2]
