David J. Welu
David J. Welu was a magistrate judge of the Fifth District of Iowa. He was appointed to this position on August 1, 2005 to serve Polk County.[1]
Education
Welu received his undergraduate degree from Loras College in 1970 and his law degree from Drake University in 1973.[1]
Career
Welu has worked as an assistant city attorney, an assistant county attorney and a private practice lawyer. He has also been the Polk County Civil Claims Counselor since 2000.[1]
