David L. Knutson

David L. Knutson is a Minnesota First Judicial District judge for Dakota County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position on June 29, 2004.[1] He won re-election to the same seat in 2012.
Education
Knutson received his B.A. degree (Philosophy and Political Science) from St. Olaf College in 1982 and his J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1986.[1]
Career
Prior to becoming a District Judge, Knutson practiced law as a partner in various law firms in Minnesota from 1986 to 2004. From 1993 to 2004, he was also a State Senator for District 37.[1]
Elections
2012
Knutson ran unopposed for Court 6 of Minnesota First Judicial District in the general election November 6, 2012. He won 99.21 percent of the vote.[2]
