Schroeder's campaign website stated the following:
Experience That Delivers Results
My experience in both municipal and county government gives me a strong, practical understanding of how local decisions affect residents every day. I serve as Alderperson for the City of Muskego and held the role of Council President, roles that required collaboration, accountability, and thoughtful leadership. This experience has allowed me to advocate effectively while understanding how county policies directly impact cities, neighborhoods, and taxpayers.
Serving in both roles is not unprecedented and has proven beneficial to constituents. Another current board member serves in dual capacities, and current State Representative Chuck Wichgers previously served simultaneously as Alderman and County Supervisor. This arrangement strengthens communication, coordination, and mutual understanding between levels of government — ultimately benefiting residents.
Independent Thinking. Honest Leadership.
Effective representation means asking tough questions and advocating for transparency — even when it’s uncomfortable. At the city level, I have raised serious and necessary questions during Council meetings. While those questions may not always be popular, they are asked in the best interest of residents.
Unfortunately, political tensions have arisen in response, including changes to meeting times and agendas that have created unnecessary conflicts. Several Aldermen have expressed concern about this approach. I believe these actions are counterproductive and distract from what truly matters: serving the people with integrity, respect, and accountability.
I will always prioritize residents over politics.
Rooted in the Community
Beyond elected office, my professional and volunteer background reflects a long-standing commitment to service. I have worked for decades as a licensed Realtor, helping families navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. I am also actively involved in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce and women’s business organizations, and I have served in numerous volunteer leadership roles throughout the community.
This combination of real-world experience, local involvement, and elected leadership gives me a grounded, common-sense perspective — and a deep appreciation for the trust residents place in those they elect.
A Steady Voice for District 24
I am running to continue serving District 24 with independence, transparency, and respect for taxpayers. I believe residents deserve a representative who listens first, asks questions, and makes decisions based on facts — not pressure or politics.
