Dameron completed a voter guide profile for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

What are your top priorities for the district?

Three challenges facing the district: 1. Accreditation of our schools and achievement of our students. 2. Property tax revenue is down. 3. Proposition I, a no-tax-increase bond issue to upgrade, renovate buildings for security of staff and students including technology STEAM learning center.

Why are you qualified to serve in this office?

I'm qualified to serve in this office because my 19 years of banking and political experience will be a great asset as director of the Ferguson-Florissant Board of Education. Together we can find a solution to the challenges facing our district. We work together with our community partners and resources to build relationships.[7]
